Saratoga Springs Rotary Club announces $36k gift grant program

The Rotary Club of Saratoga Springs is re-activating its Major Gift Grant program for 2016.  A total of up to $36,000 will be available for community charitable organizations.  The minimum grant is $5,000, and funds must be used for a physical project, specific piece of equipment or a device, not for general program operating costs. "We're seeking projects that are community oriented and generally visible and meaningful to the greater Saratoga Springs community or a subset of the population. Past projects of this type that we've funded have included new vehicles for social service organizations, enhancement of outdoor spaces, restoration of valuable cultural assets, and equipment that supports delivery of vital human services," notes Rotary Major Gift chairman, Vic Cinquino.

Grant applications will be accepted until April 1, 2016.  Applications can be mailed to the attention of the Major Gift Committee at: Rotary Club of Saratoga Springs, P.O. Box 1307, Saratoga Springs, New York 12866. Organizations may also email an application in PDF format to G82468@aol.com.
