Death Wish Coffee Company, which hosts a café on Broadway in Saratoga Springs and features what the owners call “the world’s strongest coffee,” has won the QuickBooks’ Small Business Big Game Competition. A 30-second Death Wish Coffee commercial will be featured during the Super Bowl, on Sunday, Feb. 7. In August, owner Mike Brown decided to enter the competition--a vote-based contest that awards one small business a commercial during football's biggest game. By December, the café solidified their position, placing among three finalists by virtue of having generated tens of thousands of votes, and rallying support from local and social media communities.
Brown started the Death Wish Coffee Company and began selling the highly-caffeinated organic coffee online in late 2011
